As fun as ever!

Ordered the soft pads (2) and will be putting foam underneath by myself.. based off using these soft ones, I would probably say if you want to spend the extra money and have more durable pads than buy the foam ones out of the gate but these have been good so far! Nostalgia alone after seeing them was crazy! My kids 5 & 7 instantly loved playing the game and it's really like old times, still bringing people together and once you get used to them, it's like riding a bike. They really do feel familiar and exactly what I was looking for - it could only be better if we had the space for the arcade style dance pad with all the lights. For beginner, definitely can recommend the soft pads. For more intermediate, I think going with foam pads would be the best move at the mimimum, especially if you're really competitive.

What I expected.

It is a pretty good beginners pad. Sure it moves alot but it's really good.

Good Pad, a bit flimsy

As a begginner, this is a good pad to use. It works well and has amazing responsibility, but is a bit flimsy and tends to slip when you apply too much force to the side. As many recommend, play without shoes.
The price plus shipping was a bit too high for me; I probably should have bought locally/used and I advise buyer to try so too.
It also works right out of the box with stepmania.
9/10, great beginner pad.

Giving 5 stars as this has met all expectations.
Arrived quickly (about 4 days after ordering)
Works out of the box. (Just plugged into laptop running StepMania)
Responsive and works well for my kids as well as my wife and I.

I picked up a couple of these for my wife and I to play StepMania at home. They shipped incredibly quickly, and we were playing days after ordering. Pads are responsive and have had no issues. These are great pads for beginners, and those not wanting to spend to much to be able to play
