Great bang for your buck!

Great bang for your buck, absolutely love them. Hope to afford some higher end pads later.

Octopus of Connection Options

Excellent for a soft-pad, love the octopus of connectors so it will work well no matter the system. Seems pretty responsive and the cord length is perfect for a basic setup at home. Slides around a little on a wood floor, but that is easily solvable with a yoga or other foam mat.

Works great with Stepmania

Works great with Stepmania. But, wonky firmware requires workarounds on Linux. In particular this device's firmware has trouble being plugged in after a Linux machine boots and I had to write a udev rule to fix it:

ACTION=="add", SUBSYSTEM=="usb", ATTRS{product}=="SKY2020", ATTRS{idVendor}=="054c", ATTRS{idProduct}=="0268", RUN+="/bin/sh -c \"echo suspend > /sys/bus/usb/devices/%k/power/level; echo on > /sys/bus/usb/devices/%k/power/level; sleep 0.5\""

Also, it doesn't pass the feature reports since it lies and says it is a Sony Playstation 3 controller and needs to have the hid_sony kernel module blacklisted.

After that it works great!

I wasn't originally going to get one of these

I wasn't originally going to get one of these. In high school I used the basic Konami soft pad without any real issues but these days that style of pad seems to not be very reliable. Even the pads with foam inserts generally start to show issues for me after only about two months of daily use (about an hour a day). So, instead or wasting more money on those I decided to give this pad a shot and it is worth it. Over two months later, it performs the same as when I got it, which you'd probably expect if you're dropping several hundred dollars on something like this.

It's just slightly less sensitive than a soft pad but nothing I couldn't get used to. That said, the input is much more accurate and I no longer have ghost steps messing with my score. It is also modeled after the arcade so each arrow is slightly set lower than the center and corner panels. I didn't know how to feel about that at first since I play in socks but it's not a big deal and it does help me with step accuracy. One thing I didn't think about when I purchased this is that there are no start & back buttons on the pad itself, which was kind of annoying and meant I had to go to the keyboard between each track, so I got a cheap racing pedal array to set in front of it and that works just fine. One major positive is that it's heavy enough to basically stay in place in my carpeted floor whereas the soft pads would always shift around and need to be placed in front of the tv again after every song.

I'm mostly just happy that this thing works, hasn't shown issues yet like the expensive HDF soft pads, and seems to be serviceable with online tutorials if I run into problems later. So far, it's been great.

Played on DDR, PIU, Stepmania, Fortnite & Indie Rhythm Games

Overall, it's a bit pricey, but I do think it's one of the most deluxe soft pads out there in the market right now. I've tested it on a variety of rhythm games! Here's my video review on it: https://youtu.be/Zb9jmWLsAbc

Solid, fun, and groovy

Product related: I started my experience with a cheap soft pad for the wii and caught the bug. I decided to upgrade and commit to the LTEK. Price is worth the construction of the unit and cost of a pre-imported pad. Very happy with its sensitivity and durability. I should've sprung for the one with button selector on it, but no regrets.

Service relate: Mega fast delivery, was expecting a solid 7 days and it came within 3-4 days.

Fantastic quality

Fantastic quality; we have played multiple times a week for a few months now (with players of varying weights and intensity of tapping/stomping the arrow sensors) and it is perfectly responsive! So cool to be playing this game again!!

Was able to register my card. Delivered on time and as expected!

Best soft pad I've owned

Best soft pad I've owned. The smaller size is noticeable but it only took me a few songs to adjust completely, and the pad feels so much more precise than my other softs that even while I was adjusting to the size change, I still preferred it!

Great Modded!

I used a YouTube video to mod this soft pad to plywood with vinyl, staples, and tape. Works great! It was inside my budget, and let me play lots of ddr.

Great Screws Especially if You Aren't Able to Countersink Your Pads

They're low profile screws and compared to the stock ones, it's a night and day difference. Honestly, these are enough if you don't have time or the ability to countersink your brackets and panels.

Fast shipping, assembly, and setup

Shipped fast, was easy to put assemble & setup in StepMania, and works great. Thank you!

Very reactive & easy to install.

Wasn't too hard to install. The 8 piece set was enough to do my 2 l-tek pro matts. They are much more reactive now even with jist the inner sides of each panel done.

Absolutely worth it and fairly priced. The pad quality is really good, feels just as good as the DDR foam pads from back then.

GREAT beginner pad!

GREAT beginner pad! Much better than the cheapy thin pads from Amazon, worth the extra money. 5 and 9 (and 38) year olds are loving it! Works great after putting foam mats together and putting them inside, and comes with instructions.

Works like a charm!

I use the 4 piece set on 2 of my Cobalt Flux panels that would periodically misfire or not register (2 for each panel), and not only has this mod increased sensitivity in these panels, but also practically eliminated my other issues with them!

trust the hype!

I’ve almost bought an L-tek a bunch of times, but hesitated because of the price. Now that I’ve had one for a couple of weeks. I can confidently say it is worth the scratch; pay up and dance to your heart’s content.

Very Good Mod.

It is very responsive and easy to install. A must have.

Works well and is nice and compact!

Super fun! Easy to set up and works great! No sensitivity or latency issues, a great home ddr pad!

Less than hoped for

Just received this pad and have been using it for a few days. So far, it's a bit of a let down. I thought the technology would have evolved to be better since the last time I played years ago. I'm very much a beginner and playing Stepmania on the lowest level games, yet the pad still mis-registers steps which is very frustrating for this type of game. It's also been pretty hard to hit pads with just the heel. It feels like you need to be solidly in the middle of the arrow.
