Great intro dance pad and easy setup, ordered a 2nd pad

This was a nice easy, cost-effective way to try out DDR. I'd never played DDR before. The pad responds snappily to light taps or stomps. As people say about soft pads, it can slip and fold a bit if you stomp heavily and especially with bare feet, but it's still fun to play (and I'm ordering a second so my partner and I can play together).

The USB is a nice way to get started, though it's not too hard to install things separately and a faster drive for song downloading would be nice. After some playing, I have swapped from StepMania to ITGMania (a more recently active fork), put a Portable.ini in the main directory next to Songs so I can play on my gaming computer or my laptop, and moved a bunch of songs out of the songs folder since it slows things down and I'm mostly enjoying DDR Mix 1, DDR Super Nova, and DDR Galaxy.

This dance pad is amazing. Had trouble with the previous pad as i use Linux. But with this dance pad, it worked as soon as i plugged it in and was playing DDR and mappong keys and such for other convenient use. I might have to buy another in case anything happens to this one. Always gotta have an extra of something if reasonably possible. Definitely a satisfied customer. DANCE DANCE!

Good introduction product, could be better.

So after 3 weeks of testing this pad I can definitely say that what you're paying for is what you're getting.

It's great! Do not get me wrong, but, within the first 3 days of light use (PIU Lvl. 2-6 charts and DDR 4-7) there were some notable things such as some of the sensors not working for the arrows or rather inputs where not being recognized when stepping. I expected this would've been an issue that happened but not as soon as it did which disappointed me a bit due to the expensive shipping I had to pay (almost half the price while on the US).

That said, I do believe it was a good product for someone that lives quite far from an arcade and served as a good introduction for my wife to learn how to play pad rhythm games. I did wish the bottom of the pad came with some anti-slip material as the pad almost made me slide to a fall several times! Just that would've made my review 5 stars.
